Academy will give you flexible hours and/or work around your schedule if you attend college. Direct deposit is preferred.
Cons
If Academy's sales are low, they will cut hours and send people home early. But they hire new people during this time which cuts your hours in half. They will tell you that you have an opportunity to move up during your initial interviews, however later on you will discover that isn't the case. As a part-time associate, your max hours is 30 hours a week. As a full-time associate, your max hours will be 32 but hardly ever 40. Do not depend on this job to fulfill your needs like paying your bills, unless you are only looking for a little pocket money.
