Pros
Working alone is a pro. Other than that your skills come to the test
Cons
Horrible on the job training by the company- yes the company does nothing to check on the progress on individuals . Management thinks they know what they’re doing but have Zero knowledge on machines . Trust me I know, “lead” mechanics have no schooling and that’s the reason why the ones that do have an education based knowledge leave as soon as they understand the way this company runs. Most are they for a fair paycheck - which I don’t blame . But if you’re a smart individual , specially if you’re an Armed Forces Veteran you’ll be surprised by the lack of respect and knowledge these managers have . They get paid to walk around and flirt all day long while you’re stranded at a stop - and forget about getting a response from the managers on a timely manner- you’ll get a response from parts 90 times faster than your own manager
