A majority of our staff have started in entry-level positions and have moved up within the store. We offer in house training to all our employees and empower our staff to move up within the company everyday with internal job postings. The bonus fund is extra pay on top of your hourly rate and was designed as an incentive to do the right thing for our customers and the store. If you don't understand the bonus program or are looking to grow within the company, just go see any manager, they would be happy to help you.

Almost all of our managers have started in an entry- level position and have worked their way up to management level. With their years of experience at Abt, they know the store better than anyone and have been a huge part of our success for over 85 years. We strive to keep our starting pay rates above average in the current workforce. We have recently raised our starting rates and have given raises to current staff to make up for the increase. If you did not receive your pay increase, you could have seen one of the managers. Our raises are based on merit and tenure.
