Pros

Since coming to ASEA in March I have been so impressed with the collaborative and supportive culture. Within the first week I had people from every other department taking time to check in and introduce themselves to me. Working on marketing strategies I interact daily with leaders in all lines of business globally and I have always felt that the work I have been asked to do has in a spirit of collaboration. We are often shown appreciation with lunches and office perks. Our HR team is unmatched in their onboarding efforts and continued support for employees. Never at any other company have I felt so seen and aware of my HR group, in the BEST way possible. People always say if you know who your HR people are its a problem, but not here, they are so good about making sure you get all the information and support you need as you navigate a new role. If in the event a problem should arise that I need help with I know 100% I would feel comfortable coming to them and I would be treated with respect and professionalism. Our leadership in marketing is incredible and they work so hard to make sure the work we do is notice, valued and appreciated by everyone in the company. I also really feel like our CEO Scott Alred and his executive team are really down to earth and try to communicate and lead in a way that is personable and caring. They dont feel removed from the day to day challenges and I do feel like they care about the "little guy" so to speak. And as far as working for an MLM goes, hands down ASEA is the direct sales company you want to work for because we truly exist because our product is amazing and is changing lives. And we employees KNOW because we get free monthly product every month! I am so grateful to have access to all of our products (especially our Redox Supplement and skincare) and I can understand for myself why our associates chose to sell it! Career opportunities- I feel like more than any other company I have worked, there are so many people in director or above roles that literally started in entry level jobs and worked there way up. ASEA is invested in your growth both in opportunity and with tuition reimbursement. So many of our jobs get filled by internal candidates and I love that!

Cons

Our organizational structure is confusing at times and sometimes its hard to really know who is owning what given that we wear multiple hats some times when accomplishing high priorities. I would love to have a more transparent lens on who is requesting what projects and where the priorities are from. I also there needs to be better overall management for competing priorities. While we are an MLM and are going to stay with that business model, I wish that we push the envelop more with our marketing strategies. The landscape for this type of marketing is rapidly changing and I feel like in a lot of ways we are getting left behind.
