Growing pains

Pros

People were laid back for the most part. They had good break rooms. Beautiful facility. Had group meetings with the whole company which was good to know what was going on.

Cons

They hired unqualified people to lead departments. Many had never managed employees before. They like to hire from within (which isn't always a bad thing) but qualifications are lacking.

Pros

One of the best companies I've worked for. Very focused on developing and appreciating employees and also transparent about company initiatives and goals. Performance review process is thorough; I know exactly what is expected of me. I also know that I happen to report to a great boss who empowers people, so that makes a difference. Great corporate culture.

Cons

Nothing out of the ordinary. There are always things any company is trying to iron out, but I don't see things that are any different from what other companies face.
