High numbers of unqualified people managers at middle and senior manager / HCS level. Results in poor client management and “cronyism” within account teams. Performance / hiring decisions are made with unconscious bias and not on actual performance / data. Treatment of very talented staff can be dreadful if they are perceived as “different to them” in some way. The Handling of The current crisis and recent political events have been disingenuous and very disappointing at a local level.

First contract for 7 months instead of usual 3, even after that no guarantee of a perm contract. No bonuses or raise that have been promised in the beginning. In the current challenging situation AMS has managed the crisis in a very poor way, letting off people who have worked for the Company for over a year. Instead of a support system they are offering online morning yoga classes. People who are on perm contracts are moved between the accounts against their will. No organisational skills at the management/team leader level, all the possible crisis situations/escalations are handled afterwards in less than grateful manner, with managers looking rather for a scape goat than a resolution.
