Pros

- Trainings are well organized, very informative and high in standards. - Have good clients. - Global Team is supportive and quick in solving escalations of Employees

Cons

- Recently AMS has acquired a sister concern of ABC Consultants named - FlexAbility with which it is replaced as AMS (Alexander Mann Solutions). The regional team is very pathetic with treating their employees like a Tissue Paper. - We understand the recession, but the way they had given Exit Experience for the employees is very unprofessional. - Now, it is not making any sense that they are laying off existing employees and hiring a new team !? Now doubt is capability of AMS (Alexander Mann Solutions) planning such a unthoughtful strategy.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your review, and whilst it’s great to see that you have found our training, clients, and global team all very positive, it is disappointing to hear of your experience with the regional team. AMS acquired FlexAbility from ABC Consultants in July 2022, an occasion that was highly anticipated and desired by both AMS and FlexAbility after working in close partnership for 12 years prior. We were delighted to transfer all existing FlexAbility employees into AMS and begin our integration, a project that continues today with many successes already. Over the past 12 months we have had a very small pocket of team members who, due to changes in client requirements, have undergone a redeployment exercise, of which a small number have regrettably exited the business. This is a difficult process for those individuals and we always strive to work with impacted team mates professionally and empathetically. If your experience doesn’t meet these standards, and you would like to discuss in more detail, please contact Rebecca Dakin, APAC Head of HR at: Rebecca.dakin@weareams.com.

Pros

An inclusive company rhat really promotes people being their true self, opportunity for growth and development is available with plenty of resources available to help career progression.

Cons

One hand does not know what the other hand is doing. Implementation of lean waste management and procedures caused many people to jump ship, ranging from junior entry level staff to ceo levels saw the shambles of management and no matter who fed back it seemed to go nowhere. Ramped up their recruitment post pandemic and brought in a ridiculous amount of staff that actually impacted bonus structures and salary reviews of tenured long term staff. People that bad been there for years and years through thick and thin where now on the same playing field as someone just through the door!?!?? Few mo ths later, had to make cuts and there's redundancies being made left, right and centre!! Who's the ines being made redundant? All the new staff surely.... NOPE... For whatever reason they've decided to cut all the tenured staff with experience and knowledge and hold on to ones fresh in the door, and all the management and new management are either friends or friends of friends. Make it make sense??? My team has seen 6 people walk so far, within a 6 month window, from a new manager took over!

Many thanks for taking the time to post a review. It is great to see that your highlights of working at AMS reflect what we try strive so hard to promote every day – authenticity, inclusivity and career progression. That said, it is disappointing to read your thoughts regarding the departure of colleagues owing to the economic climate we, and the industry as whole, are operating in right now and the subsequent softening in client hiring volumes we’ve experienced on some accounts. We've been working hard to minimize the impact this is having on our colleagues, looking to re-deploy to other accounts and find new opportunities within the business. We know good talent is hard to find, whether tenured or new to our business, and we invest in it considerably, so we always try to hold on to it where we can. We’d love for you to reach out to engagement@weareams.com so we can discuss further your other points, in particular the latest results from our Every Voice Matters survey which saw us stand two points above the Glint external global benchmark in terms of engagement score. It would also be great to talk you through the varied opportunities and levels of value which are available to utilise through AMS Appreciate, our global recognition platform, so colleagues can acknowledge and thank each other at all levels.
