Easy to have a 9-5 life (account dependent) and the company provides good resources to help you recruit

Cons

Too much micromanagement and focus on KPIs (if you don't hit every single KPI, it's highly unlikely you will be promoted), very few opportunities to be promoted or to gain a pay raise, dull sense of community across the office, and too much of a division created between Recruiters and Sourcers

Pros

Holidays, benefits, location, some good colleagues to work with.

Cons

Senior management, not caring about their staff, poor progression, poor communication, terrible IT issues, laptops break constantly, spending at least one day a week trying to fix our own laptop issues as IT are too busy. Made a lot of people in Belfast redundant as they didn't want to pay their staff. Hopefully people will remember this when work picks up and don't go back in the future.

Non-leadership professionals try really hard to make this a successful company to work with and you will make some great friends along the way.

Cons

Do not recommend. AMS in the US is a mess. High turnover, mismanagement, runs very lean, lack of client/account growth. Overwork recruiters and underpay them so we see lots of top quality recruiters leave AMS.
