Pros

Work from home Autonomous work life balance Good salary Focus on diverse culture

Cons

AMS don't know how to manage their client or client demands and instead of presenting a suitable forecast of staffing needs, they just cut you like you're a piece of meat for disposal. What was once a family orientated company is now one of the most toxic corporate machines in the industry. Upper management are out for themselves

Pros

Remote work Diversity and Inclusion Pay

Cons

AMS will tell you everything that you want to hear in order to convince you to join their team. For example, that if something were to happen to an account, there are so many other accounts that they could transfer you to. (This is NOT true. There is NO job security at AMS.). Also, the bonus structure is not transparent. Townhall meetings with senior leadership - most of the leadership have been with the company a very short time (only a few months to less than 1 year). I was there 1 year - and had 9 DIFFERENT managers. Layoffs started in November 2022, and there were around 9 different rounds of layoffs until the final one in March 2023.

Pros

great medical insurance, good base salaries

Cons

Extremely unprofessional HR team, the only firm where from the very first step of onboarding to exiting they messed up multiple things including my payroll. Impossible to follow up with them as they offshore most stuff to cheap labor in the Philippines who are not qualified to deal with such matters. Management team do not allow for direct contact with the client; create a wall where they are required to communicate to the client. This is to show the client they are creating value, when really all they do is play politics and no actual work besides forwarding on emails from the client. Since Recruitment Business Partners are not allowed to contact the client directly most tasks end up being bottlenecked. They do not have the client's interest at heart in matters, its just about ticking off KPI boxes; lost cost solution with low quality management - Bank's should end using RPO's; it doesn't work People are extremely unmotivated and the people they tend to hire make no sense; bums on seats approach.
