Strong relationships Inspirational CEO who built the company from nothing to waht it is today Good CSR program

Cons

Slow unwilling to respond to concerns & complaints against managers Resistant to change Inflexible unfair reward and recognition scheme Under resourced support functions Bullying culture tolerated Performance is measured on a 1-2-3 basis. 1 = 10% of the company, these people get a pay rise. 2 = 70% of the company, these people get nothing. 3 = 20% of the company, these people get a performance plan. If you have no work life balance and grind away every weekend for the year answer the phone on vacation and work to 8 every night then you might be a 1 If you have a family or a life you will always be a 2

WORSE company EVER for people managers and gap between self-promotion and delivery as a company.

Pros

Learn how to NOT to manage people: curb discussion, browbeat, blame everyone else. Learn to stonewall a client.

Cons

Cost of benefits is high for the coverage. Client relationship manager arbitrarily reduced bonuses promised in order to look better to mgmt.

Pros

I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the office. It was very relaxed, even with higher management in the office. It was a really fun place to work with days out and fund raisers.

Cons

Extremely 'cliquey'. Very difficult to integrate into teams as a new starter. Little to no support if you didn't have a good 'social' relationship with management. Very quick to point the finger of blame rather than work to resolve issues.
