If you have a good work ethic then the 12 hour days fly by and then you get four whole days off. You are definitely kept busy, but I found it enjoyable to push myself. The senior staff are a really good bunch too, and there's definitely opportunities for progression if you stick around

Learnt alot in my 2 and a half years there. Worked my way through different departments, helping out within the media department, before being encouraged by my manager at the time to move into Quality Control. He also helped to thouroughly train me for the role, even after recommending me for it. Health and Safety was also a key value on site, and a high priority. I was also given weekly training in becoming a on site health and safety officer by manager, who was the sites current health and safety officer. This allowed me to develop myself further in my career, within a laboratory based environment.
