Pros

Working with my team was good

Cons

I was a great candidate and high performed employee however I got laid off right before couple days of my maternity leave which was unprofessional and not fair to me!!! Behavior and communication of higher level of employees were rude. I will never work for this company again

Pros

Great pay, great IC plans, benefits are decent.

Cons

When hired in 12 years ago AGCO was a company that cared about its employees. You didn’t feel like just a number. As they grew and the introduction of AGVance and the new CEO the company took a major turn for the worse. Employee morale is worst I had ever seen, layoffs are at an all time high, everyone is job scared. Hansotia is determined to turn AGCO into an AI operated business.

Pros

The company is going through a lot of change right now, similar to others in this industry. We've all gotten some tough news. At first I was really frustrated with the process and communication, but recently I had an open conversation with a leader and now better understand the timing challenges of being a global company and how open they were to listen to my concerns and discuss really uncomfortable things with me. I felt heard and now I feel more aware of what's going on. We should probably make sure that all leaders are trained to have these type of interactions.

Cons

Not all leaders have the ability or feel comfortable to have difficult but open conversations with employees on what's happening during this time of change. It doesn't help to ignore or avoid the tough talks, people are hungry for information and when it's not available, they either make up the facts or get gossip from others which isn't helpful. Leaders should understand that it is a part of your role to have these type of talks with team members.
