Pros

- decent pay and commissions - good technology - great team

Cons

- management doesn't listen to feedback from employees - training isn't sufficient for specialized teams - processes are antiquated and bureaucratic - sales teams aren't prepared to give customers good information about products -- only to force service don't small business's throats

Pros

I liked most of the employees I've worked with, and I like providing security to families. There's a 401(k) matched by the company, and pretty good benefits.

Cons

You can only advance if you're willing to put in a lot of hours. I'm talking 12+ hours a day as a technician. there's an extremely high turnover, so you don't get the support you need as a field technician. New hires on dispatch are a joke and don't understand the business. Managers don't provide enough training for complex installs and so you have to solve all your own problems via trial and error.
