Allowances for gas and cellphone, unlimited data on your iPad. Decent commissions if you make sales

Cons

90% of sales are from self generated leads. Practically this means that unless you are incredibly resourceful or are great at cold calling, you won't make it. I estimate that about 30% of employees quit the first month and another 25% by the end of month 2. It's cutthroat survival of the fittest. Management is of little help. They just review the metrics and hardly ever fire anyone. Since it's commission based, why fire someone if you're not paying them anything? Just keep them until they quit. I've been here for 6 months. I started making decent sales in November and December, but after the new year rolled through everything has stopped.

Pros

Very innovative and have a good reputation, stability as a company and lots of room for advancement if desired. Descent benefits.

Cons

So much to learn at first and though you are provided a very extensive 1-week all expense paid training, plus additional computer-based training, it's often "baptism by fire." Health benefit options are a little disappointing.

- When I worked at ADT, the work force was very unorganized. Dispatch wasn't helpful nor where senior trainers - Toxic work environment: no team work, no supporting other techs, no collaboration. It's really every man for himself. - hard to move up! I busted my a** for 2 years, and it was never appreciated
