      Pros

      Global company, great colleagues, amazing technologies, good opportunities

      Cons

      Company is managed by looking quarterly results, employees are seen as liability. Centralized decision making isolates customers and workforce, values are mostly seen on paper, not in real action. Moving HR activities to Service Centers was poorly managed, e.g. incentives were not paid on time.

      - ABB overall is a good company - Work from home with manager approval - Convenient office location - Company 401k match is realtime and benefits start day one - ABB Company Values (when they are followed)

      Cons

      - Bad culture in Enterprise Software: encouraged/forced vacations, frequent layoffs, high turnover of leadership and "A" players - Bad management in Enterprise Software: senior leaders and Zurich blame consistently low sales performance on everyone but themselves while failing to make any substantial investments - Sink or swim: very limited job training, coaching, and mentorship (only forced safety and integrity trainings) - Parent company prefers optimizing the short-term (making the quarter) with the expense of the long term (improving the product portfolio)
