Following the change in top management from local to foreigners in 2012, the new foreign team promotes politics in the organisation so the culture of "don't care" develops. Each foreign employee comes with own agenda. There is a clear divide of foreign vs local since the retrenchment that went wrong with a list of all locals were made redundant in 2012. The HR dept is highly political these days and the dept is over staffed. The HRBPs delivered poor services to the employees yet are treated star performers because they can sing the same tune with the new foreign team. They took employees to task if any employee give poor feedback about HR support. Staff turnover is therefore higher, at some points it is felt like a recruitment center as many people come and go.
