How would I see myself as a manager/CEO of my own company and what were the best marketing options for the businesses/organisations they represented
The questions during the interview were based around my previous experience and working out how that can relate to the sales position with vacancy filler. Also we discussed where I see myself in 3/5 years time. Both the sales manage and managing director were happy to answer any questions I had.
What appeals to you most about this position? What is your approach to researching prospects? How will you go above and beyond in this position?
What kind of security do you look for when online banking? What is your experience with SSL? What are your long term goals?
What is the largest audience you have ever spoken in front of?
What did you learn from the software website, the type of products? How do you think you can upsell the products? Conducted role play on phone.
They will ask a lot about your experience, comfort level in a customer service position, phone etiquette and quite a few questions about how you handle difficult customers etc. They really make sure to get to know you personally and professionally before they make a decision, expect to come in for multiple interviews throughout the screening process. Although I will say it was a longer process than I would have liked, it was a joy meeting everyone and went very smoothly… well worth the effort.
