I was asked a lot of scenario-based questions. I don't remember the exact scenarios, but I liked the questions because it gave me an indirect look at some of the situations I'd potentially be in while employed at the company.

I was asked a lot of scenario-based questions. I don't remember the exact scenarios, but I liked the questions because it gave me an indirect look at some of the situations I'd potentially be in while employed at the company.

One of the questions was around why I wanted to take a step down after having been a manager in my former company. This was a sticky point with other companies I'd spoken with. They don't want to see candidates going "backwards."
