I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at eBay (Shanghái, Shanghai) in Dec 2013
Interview
The first round is a telephone interview. Questions include basic algorithm, data structure, Java and Database.
After about a week, I got a chance to do onsite interview with four eBay employees, each for about 45 minutes. All of them asked questions about algorithm and data structure. The third one asked more about design patterns.

I applied through other source. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at eBay (San Jose, CA)
Interview
I was hired by email, ICQ and one phone call. I was asked to submit a resumé. I didn't apply for the job. I came to their attention by posting on one of the chat boards and interacting with eBay users. I started out in SafeHarbor, the original fraud investigation unit. After two years, I was moved to Community Development.

Question 1
Would I be willing to take the job, work from home on my computer. I worked "remote" for almost all of my over nine years of employment.
Very easy questions, took a small test to make sure you were able to listen and type data at the same time. The overall process was very easy. The only thing that I have not liked so far is the back ground check is very extensive and they require proof of a lot of things.
