Wise Senior Software Developer interview questions

I interviewed at wise Estonia. First round was HR recruiter. The recruiter was very nice and explained the whole interview process very well. The second round was pair programming with two software engineers (from London / Beware of the interviewers from London as mentioned in every other wise review). Pair programming round: The question was like currency conversion. I had two methods where one was sending money and the other one was receiving money. I had to refactor the code based one edge cases like sending should happen if receiver is there and has an account and all the other relevant edge cases, I had the perfect solution ready to implement the current conversion using BFS which the interviewer asked first but while I was implementing the solution, the interviews stopped me and redirected me to the money transfer part. We handled the currency conversion part via a dummy API and now we had a lot of to and fro discussions and code implementation/changes on the money transfer part. I addressed all the edge cases and follow up questions well and the interview overall felt like it went well and nowhere the interviewer nudged me that I was doing something wrong so the result I got from the technical interview was very unexpected for me, considering I completed everything accordingly. There was no feedback as to why I got rejected so I would say overall a negative experience interviewing with the wise team, They should definitely learn how to conduct an interview and should be upfront about the passing criteria and should work on their pair programming part of the interview.

Spoke to a disorganised recruiter who discussed a couple of positions. Went through several stages of the interview process. The system design part was pathetic as the leading interviewer didn't seem to listen. They would answer my question, listen to my discussion on a particular part, and then 30 minutes later ask about it again. There are several ways to design a system, and they seem to have one solution in mind. Overall, the recruitment process is full of miscommunications, unresponsive recruiters, and a lack of updates or feedback. Interviewers seem to be struggling to understand the complexity of some of the projects a candidate has been working on.
