Interview
I applied online in May 2025 and heard back two days later from a recruiter who thanked me for applying and asked me to complete a take-home task. The assignment involved drafting a response to a customer complaint, using information available on the Wise website and some background research. The goal was to assess my customer service skills and communication style. About a week later, I was invited to interview with two team leads via Zoom. The interview was informal, and the interviewers were friendly and approachable. They focused on determining whether I would be a good fit for the team and asked questions about my previous roles and how my experience aligned with the position. Around two weeks after the interview, the recruiter reached out to let me know that I had performed well and offered to schedule a feedback call. During that call, they officially offered me the position, which I accepted. Onboarding began shortly after. The final step was a background check, which takes approximately three weeks to complete.
Screening round with recruiter followed by tech test with a senior engineer or two. Recruiter round is straightforward screening as standard. Tech test tends to be a practical problem based on a real life scenario relevant to wise. Not your typical leetcode type questions

Interview
They make you go through a long process (3-4 weeks) from application. Do a take home assignment, and then rounds of interview only for them to not even bother with an email regarding your application status. The lack of courtesy and disregard this company has for people's time is disgusting.
