I applied online. I interviewed at Wise (Austin, TX)
Interview
I was asked to complete a skill assessment/test case. Then I had virtual interview with the local team leaders and was then was asked to interview with a regional hiring member.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Wise (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2025
Interview
Pathetic is the least word to say, their HRs are literally 3rd party and dont even bother about hiring. These 3rd Party headless chickens are just completing their targets with no hires, right from the first round, they behave like demi gods. Too difficult to get even a response. I think they are bit of racist too. Anyways, coming to the interviews, 5 rounds,
1 - Hr -> mug up wise core values, principles etc.
2-> scan through glassdoor and leetcode, prepare and mug up those questions as well as these are same since 2021, they just ask till concurrency for every such question. Be sure to follow incremental coding because you are an actor and not a developer.
3-> Again mug up those 2-3 popular questions which they ask for SD. If you follow a standard way, they will question you randomly.
4-> product round
5-> behavioral round

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wise (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jul 2025
Interview
I don’t remember the last time I was this impressed by an interview process. The Wise team was amazing from start to finish.
The interviewers were genuinely friendly and approachable, and the recruiter was super responsive and supportive throughout. Feedback was shared quickly and transparently, which made the whole experience stress-free and respectful of my time.
The questions were practical and directly relevant to the role, not just abstract puzzles you often see in traditional tech interviews. It actually felt more like a conversation with future colleagues than an interview. You just discuss some topic without a fear of failing or saying something “wrong.”
Expectations were clear, and the feedback I received highlighted both what I did well and where I could improve.
The process felt very human, thoughtful, and respectful. It left me with a great impression of Wise as a company that truly values people.
