4 rounds - one coding, one system design, and two for product sense / soft skills. Very slow process and unclear feedback - received positive feedback after round 3 and after round 4 they rejected me pointing out my round 3 performance.

Product sene round - how would you handle and evaluate the request to migrate to a new observability cloud tool
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wise (Tallin) in Aug 2025
Interview
The process took 3 weeks from the day I got an invintation to the 1st interview till the day I received an offer. The first screening was with an HR agent, the second (and final) interview was with a team lead and a person from HR as well. Beside the questions on KYC topic itself, I got a lot of questions like “Tell me about a time when…”, but all questions seemed quite sound and reasonable for this role. Overall great experience, I was really enjoying the process, no unnecessary rounds of interviews, no weeks of waiting for a response - both times I got feedback already within 1-2 hours after the interview.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you received negative feedback?
The process sounded straight-froward, you pass the initial pre-screening, then you receive a take-home test, after that one would get an online interview (this is a huge upgrade from the previous talk-to-the-screen style they had before).
What's really disappointing & unprofessional, is not providing feedback of the test scores, especially that this is used as a critical factor (so they say) in the hiring process.
It's one of the least transparent hiring processes I've went through in 15 years career!
