Too many stages. First the screening stage, then pair programming. After that is system design and finally a personality review. Far too many stages. This should be shortened and more feedback give .
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wise in Oct 2023
Interview
Applied online, received email the next day for further online assessment & interviews. After received the email, need to wait few days for first assessment. Then waited for a week for another assessment. The first task is to do the case study about ML (passed), second stage was the Hirevue video assessment which is not so easy to me. Even though there was practically mode, but the real questions asked were a bit tricky and challenging. I failed. If you passed this stage, there will be another two interview sessions. I don’t know why they make the hiring process lengthy, especially the video assessment. I prefer to talk to real people to show my speaking skills and personality. They really waste their money and candidates’ time.
I hope they can cut the video assessment stage and straight away interview the candidate.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wise (Tallin) in Oct 2023
Interview
The job interview process began with two rounds of system interviews. The initial phase involved video calls where I responded to a set of questions, followed by crafting replies to hypothetical customer emails as if I were already employed. Upon progression, I engaged in interviews with two team leaders. These sessions focused on discussing the position, empathizing with customers and employees, and delving into personal inquiries about my interests and life to assess alignment with the available team positions. The final stage culminated in the job offer.
