Interview
I was given a phone screen by WayFair. This was a 20 minute phone screen, from a person without a technical background, so I was not able to effectrively communicate my skill set.
One of the recruiters set up a 30 minutes phone interview. Lets say 12:00-12:30.
He was late at least 6 minutes.
He talked for 15 minutes.
I talked for 2, 3 minutes and I was asking a question
when he said he has to leave for a meeting at 12:25
before 30 minutes or conversation was over.
He said he would call me back in 10, 15 minutes which did not happen and he did not respond my follow up email.
I do not know what to make of that.
after 2, 3 weeks he emailed me to “reconnect”, a time was set, never received a call.

Interview
I had a phone interview with an employee, where we went through a number of questions related to one case study, and finally a simple math problem. I was disappointed that the interview was for a data science role, yet I was interviewed by a completely non-technical employee who focused the interview questions on some very high-level retail/sales-oriented questions.
