Applied online, received email scheduling time for phone interview. Asked projects and related knowledge in the resume. And asked a small case study about pair user and device. From the problem to feature selection to model.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Intense, but quick. The recruiter was very efficient in moving forward to the next step. The interview panels were mostly friendly, except for 2 aggressive managers who weren't satisfied with any answers except what they had in mind. It was a tiring, 5 hour long process of meeting 8-9 people, individually or in panels of 2. It's often hard to say exactly what they want you to say, and they're looking for very specific check points.
