I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Tukwila, WA) in Sep 2015
Interview
First, you apply online on their website. Eventually I received a call that was a basic phone interview, and given a time to come in and do a group interview. There were about 4-5 other people, and we were in the back of the store. The general store manager and a shift manager were interviewing all of us. The questions were very unusual compared to other retail jobs, and you have to really show off your Disney knowledge and your energy.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Chicago, IL)
Interview
It was called an "audition." I was brought backstage and we were asked different how we would act in different scenarios, such as a child wanting a princess toy or a grandma who doesn't know what to get her grandson.

Interview
Apply online and do an online application and web interview if they want an interview they give you a cal to set it up. It is a group interview. My interview was with 5 other people. The hiring manager asks lots of Disney ice breaker questions and makes it feel fun but still professional. After the group interview, I was called a day or 2 later to come back for a second interview with the store manager. He hired me after a 10 minute conversation.
