I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Verizon in Apr 2009
Interview
The first interview was a phone interview. Passing that you are selected to the testng. The testing is very intense the results are either Pass/Fail. This last at least a couple of hours. When you pass the testing you are selected for a second interview. The second interview is another phone interview . The third interview you meet with a supervisor and they ask you general bahavioral and scenario question. I have a fourth interview and HR said its for the same position still so I don't know.

Interview
I submitted an application on the website. Around 1 week later, I was called and emailed by VZW HR about a phone interview. They called me at 8am as promised, and the interview began.
They asked me questions regarding my prior experience, as if they were checking up on my application. They asked about prior sales experience and management experience. They did not just confirm, but asked for in-depth examples of these jobs.
After about 45 mins of questioning, they forwarded me to a store manager for a follow up interview. This interview has not yet begun.

Interview
Interview was a very easy process. You are first contacted by a recruiter and they go over a few things with you. Its mainly focused on seeing how you would react in certain situations and making sure everything on your resume is correct. If you pass that phase then they set an interview with the store manager and he goes over the position and asks the typical questions. If the manager wants to hire you then you get a call from the HR rep and they give you an offer. Overall a pretty good system has been put in place.

Question 1
Why should I put you my sales position when I am also looking to fill a customer service position? What makes you different from the other applicants.
