I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon in Nov 2010
Interview
Since only 30 minutes were allocated for the interview, it was very fast-paced. All the questions were typical behavioral questions. My interviewer ran through the list of questions and I felt like I was getting drilled with questions after questions. There was little interaction and I did my best to recite some prepared responses.

Question 1
Explain a time when you knew that there had to be a better/more efficient way to do something.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Champaign, IL) in Nov 2010
Interview
I received an email about my resume on careerbuilder, asking me to apply for Retail Sales Rep position. I applied online and was contacted the same day by a recruiter. She did a phone screening and then she put me through to the next phone interview. I received 2 more phone interviews and then I had 2 more face to face interviews with managers. They wanted to offer me a lower paying position in the same store but I think I got it across to them that I wasn't looking forward to interviewing for that.
I think I scared them away when I said I was thinking about going back to my Masters degree. The whole interview process was a waste of time and they didn't have the decency to call me to let me know I didn't get the job. They sent me an email instead. Very unprofessional recruiter and experience.
