I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Bellevue, WA) in Feb 2022
Interview
Overall, pretty great. The interviewers were all very enthusiastic and knowledgable. Even my hardest technical interview was pretty easy-going. One of my interviewers even did research on me before the interview and asked me about projects deep in my portfolio, which I really appreciated.
There were a few hiccups along the way: I was sent the wrong Zoom link for an interview, and the offer was a little slow to come based on when they said it would.
Other than that, it only took about 3-4 weeks total from application to offer.

Interview
Very smooth process but with many rounds to ensure that the candidate is a good fit for the position. They asked to answer with SMART stories, so make sure that you have some story to share.
Technical assessment was required. And they also searched for a background fits candidates as well.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Unity
Interview
A Unity recruiter messaged me on Linkedin and after that initial screening, I then interviewed with the hiring manager. After that, I had five other interviews with the rest of the team. A big part of these interviews was making sure I was a good fit for the team not only on a professional skill level but on a personality level as well, which I appreciate. Some interviews went by quicker than others and the questions were a mix of technical questions meant to gauge one's experience in the field as well as questions meant to gauge one's personal working style/philosophy/etc.
Everyone was really lovely and friendly and seemed happy to be part of the company which only made more eager to work there.
The whole process took around 6 weeks - from the initial screening to signing. After my last interview, the recruiter reached out to me 2 business days later. However, I have heard from others that sometimes it takes up to 2 weeks to hear back. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
My advice is to be well prepared to provide clear and concise (and relevant of course) anecdotes from previous jobs that demonstrate your expertise and ease in the role that you're applying to - in case they ask!
