Interview
I applied online. The process took ~6 weeks. I interviewed at Unity in January 2020. Screening interview, then meet the hiring manager, then 3 "on-site". Due to covid-19 everything was remote.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Unity
Interview
After initially being contacted by a Unity recruiter, there was a series of Zoom calls with various team members and managers, and a coding challenge.
It was a really positive process - there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and prompt feedback after each stage. I was always kept updated with what the next part of the process would be - it was genuinely probably one of the most streamlined and friendly interview processes I've been through.

Question 1
Coding questions:
The two coding interview questions I was provided were relevant to my background and the role. I was impressed at the interviewers' supportive approach in listening to me talk through the problem before I actually coded up a solution.
System design question:
The system design question was very relevant to the role and specific project I would be doing. It helped me get a sense of the type of problem they consider and I felt it was a fair question that likely provided my interviewer with a good sense of how I would think through this type of work.
