I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Augusta, ME) in Oct 2013
Interview
It was very easy, took about 30 minutes, and got back to me within 30 minutes to offer me a job. They just asked what I was looking for, my experience with working in the makeup field and how I could traffic stop someone to sit in my chair
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Gastonia, NC) in Jan 2013
Interview
The interview was straightforward. The salon manager asked basic questions about my qualifications, experience, etc. I had to come back on a separate occasion to demonstrate a facial on another supervisor, which was a little scary since I was fresh out of cosmetology school. However, Ulta provided me a cheat sheet describing their preferred facial method, so I just had to follow the steps on the sheet.

Question 1
Ulta initially wanted to know if I was a licensed professional since this is essential to work as an esthetician in the state of North Carolina.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Columbus, OH) in Aug 2013
Interview
Interview is quick, and easy. Mostly asked questions about me and my customer service experiences. (over all, a lot of easy basic questions). The dress code is all black, but I would just recommend dressing "dress-casual", and unless you want to be a prestige beauty advisor, your makeup doesn't have to be extravagant.
