Interview
I applied on April 24th, got called for a group interview about a week later, interviewed on May 5th and was told she would get back to us on Saturday the 7th. I let her know I had a couple more interviews lined up the next day but I wanted this job the most, she ended up hiring me right then instead of making me wait. I believe she did that because she was explaining how hard it is to find someone willing to do task because it is a 5 am shift, I figure she didn't want to lose people that were willing to work that shift. There were supposed to be 5 people at our group interview but only two of us showed up and we both got hired. The lady interviewing us was awesome, very friendly and down to earth! I go in on Saturday to fill out all the paperwork. Very pleasant interview experience, definitely one of the funnest interviews I've had. Just practice the interview questions because a lot of interview questions I saw on here were asked in my interview as well.

Interview
Well I will start by saying it sounded very promising when I filled out an application online with my resume included and I got a call back 15 mins later ....YEA 15 MINS after i submitted my app./resume..The salon manager set me up with an interview 2 days later. on my way there SHE TEXT ME TO RESCHEDULE THE INTERVIEW 20 MINS BEFORE! and I was already there because I wanted i few mins to prepare. So I tell her that I am already here so she has me do an interview with the store manager, okay I don't mind, So I got in and the Manager says that's she has a couple of things to do and that i should walk around , no big deal...finally she takes me back to her office..the interview is a total of 10 mins, i spent more time walking around the store. She informs me during the interview that she knows nothing about facials and that she would have no say in hiring me (what a waste) . So I leave, I don't call the store for a couple of days because its the weekend and I know they are swamped so I call Monday and talk to the salon manager I ask if their is any update, will I have an interview with her? She tells me she hasn't even spoken to the store manager about my interview and that she will call me and let me know how it went....I am guessing the store manager could tell "I wasn't a good fit" in the whole 10 mins she spoke to me about absolutlely nothing relevent to the job I was applying for. I may sound bitter lol i assure you i am not I will still buy most of my products from Ulta, but If they were to call me back for an interview I would decline. From my experience and the reviews I have read Ulta is very Unprofessional when it comes to the employees, and I do not want to work for a company so unorganized and unprofessional.
