Ulta Beauty interview questions

The interview process at the time had over the phone option or face to face. Due to circumstances at the time I had to opt for over the phone. I was asked about a time I had a disagreement with a manager and was also asked to role play a customer interaction.

Easy interview, everything was going great until they asked about my salary expectations. They said asking for $15 hourly was “far too high.” I didn’t realize anyone in retail was still paying so low, especially when they are looking for workers with years of experience and willingness to work at odd hours like early morning and late nights.
