Interview
The hiring process was extensive and took about an hour in total. You must also have a demo lesson and write what is similar to a personal statement essay before the initial interview process.

Interview
Utterly ridiculous.
First there was a face to face interview at a coffee shop that took about an hour.
Next, I had fill out an insane amount of questionnaires, work history, academic history, provide multiple letters of recommendations, transcipts, write practically an autobiography as well as some passionate essay about why I wanted to teach disadvantaged children, pass an extensive background check, and more that slips my mind.
Then there was a one on one web interview, also took around an hour, and then we had a multi panel interview, with several interviewees and interviewers to "compete" with, followed by another one on one again all of which took several hours.
By the end of it I decided this was insane and if they are having these asks up front from a candidate I didn't want to know what actually working for them would be like.
The whole thing reeked of a scam/exploitation. I understand it is a legitimate company, but they basically come out and say you will be over worked and under paid.

Interview
There are pre-interview questions, a group interview, and then an individual interview. The group interview consists of the 5 minute lesson plan interviews and the individual interview sign ups are after the lesson plans. The whole process takes a few hours.
