I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Stockton, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
It was fairly easy. They ask basic questions about yourself and your work ethic. They also ask scenario question asking what you would do in certain situations. I went for three rounds of interviews in one day. They just want to get to know you and see if your the right fit for the company.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target (Pottstown, PA) in Sep 2015
Interview
The interview took place in two parts; first a phone interview, then in-store interview. The phone interview only took a couple of minutes, and was done with an HR personnel and the store manager. They then asked if I could come in for an in person interview, which I accepted. The in-person interview was with just one HR personnel (same person that did the phone interview) and that is where the more in-depth questions were asked. The whole process was very simple and a lot of fun! Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target (Garden Grove, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
Excessively long for a simple job. Two phases that tests people in scenario. Basically asks if you are willing to bend your back for guests. The ask random team leaders to read a bunch of questions off a worksheet. No actual HR people during the interview process.
