I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Target in Apr 2015
Interview
I talked to a recruiter at a career fair and was contacted by the recruiter about the position to set up an interview. I applied online as well after meeting with the recruiter. Very friendly and helped to make the application process painless. Went to the interview and was asked 4 of the exact questions you have seen in the other interview reviews, as well as what my salary requirements were. Although the interviewers were very friendly and personable, they really made no effort to get to know me apart from the scripted questions they asked, which felt awkward and forced. There was really no way for me to show my personality because they stuck so strictly to the script.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you gave great customer service?
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2015
Interview
Same as you seen on here, phone screen, tell me about yourself, why target, and 4 behavioral questions. PRACTICE! and ask questions! Ask about the position, and engage with the recruiter. My first interview was 7 mins and second one was 22 mins. It was two recruiters which was weird. The online assessment was HORRIBLE!! I guessed almost on everything and it was time consuming!

Tell me a time when you had a disagreement with your supervisor but kept it professional?
Tell me a time when you made a mistake with an impact?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
When you apply online, you'll get an email asking to set up a phone interview time with different date and time options. Once you submit, then you'll have a phone interview with the hiring manager. They'll call you, and the interview is very laid back. After the phone interview, they let you know that they'll notify you of a decision within a week of your interview.
