I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target in Apr 2015
Interview
Applied online. Within 2 hours of applying, received an email from Amy Summerlin, a recruiter for Target, wanting to set up an phone interview. Set up interview thru online process without even talking to a person. Amy then emailed me directly asking for my resume and a good phone number. She called me on time and the phone interview lasted around 30 mins. Later received an email stating that I was no longer being considered for the position.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Stockton, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
A recruiter contacted me shortly after I submitted my resume online and within a couple of days I had a phone interview which was more of a "getting to know you" type of call. The next day, I was contacted to set up an in-person interview. The following week, I had an in-person interview with an STL (store manager). By the time I got to my car after that interview, I already had a voicemail on my phone from the interviewer asking if I could do another in-person interview with another STL later that day. Went to that interview and was informed a couple of days later that I wasn't being offered a position. Target was helpful in providing feedback after each interview to help in subsequent interviews. They are looking for an ETL with a very upbeat personality who can always be "on." When providing answers to their interview questions, they really want you to focus on providing little background information and then explain, in detail, the steps that you took (and why) to reach the desired result. I watched a lot of YouTube videos to study behavioral interviewing, but was still surprised at the depth of information they wanted when answering their interview questions.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (San Bernardino, CA)
Interview
Met the recruiter at school job fair; they were quick to set up interviews for me. First interview turned out to be 3 interviews in one back to back. Employees were rather friendly and not intimidating at all. After these interviews I was contacted to pass an assessment which turned out to be really difficult (math/ logic part); next I was scheduled to do a 3-hour unpaid job-shadow. I am scheduled to interview again in a week. Good luck everyone!
