I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target (New York, NY)
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter through email originally, and set up a phone interview. They explained everything every step of the way on what to do and expect. It was a good overall experience because they let you know what to expect and offer help...until the third interview (out of a total five interviews)...went absolutely fantastically, but I got cut like an hour after the interview..
Obviously it was because of my assessment that I didn't get the offer, and the reason this is irksome to me is that they stressed how the face-to-face interviews and behavioral talks with managers were the biggest key, and "oh by the way take an assessment when you can"
If they are gonna interview you 5 times, it shouldn't be about the first person or computer program that doesn't like you gets to boot you; they should let you finish all your interviews and get a win-loss record or something

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to deal with an unsuccessful situation
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target (Charlotte, NC) in Dec 2013
Interview
Very simple. I had a phone interview with an Executive Team Leader of a random store, and then I went and had an interview with the District Team Leader of a store in my area. He was super nice and told me he started off as an Intern as well. He definitely gave me hope that I could grow in the company.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target
Interview
Starts off with a phone call with simple questions about yourself and leadership questions. Then you will take an online assessment which usually lasts about and hour so be prepared. I highly encourage a quiet environment where you can concentrate.
