I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Tucson, AZ) in Feb 2016
Interview
Met recruiter at a college job fair. Set up an interview for the following week on the spot. Interview was all focused on specific leadership examples. I met with the first person for about 25 minutes. She asked about 4-5 leadership specific examples. They want you to follow the standard situation, behavior, outcome format. First interview went well and then to my surprise she said there would be a second on the spot interview and she would send in a different store manager. The second interview was exactly the same, but the situational leadership questions were a little different and the situations themselves had to be different from what I told the first interviewer. Have an answer prepared for "tell me about a time when you messed up and it had a significant impact." I thought the interviews went very well, I was very surprised when I received the 'we have decided not to continue' email.

Interview
There are 3 sets of interviews. My first one was on the phone, the next two were on site interviews. For the most part people were very friendly. The first 2 interviews were more situation-based, the last was more of an "about you" type of thing.
