I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Portland, OR) in Jul 2010
Interview
Waste of 6 weeks of my life interviewing with Target!! The recruiter was disorganized and rude, I interviewed with 3 different people only to be told that A) I didn't get the job and B) "it's not Target's policy to disclose" what I could have done differently (or do differently in the future). I have management, retail, and military experience in addition to being 5 months from having a Masters degree!!!

Question 1
Talk about a time that you should have been stronger and stood up for what you believed in.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Saint Cloud, MN) in Jul 2010
Interview
Target is the biggest joke I've ever heard of. I was referred by 2 employees. The store team leader who was doing the hiring for the St. Cloud Store and he even did a face to face interview with me, and a recruiter. I was given a phone interview which I felt went great. Later found out I didn't recieve a second interview in a very disrespect ful manner. I know I'm the best person for this company and they are too blind to even see it!!!!!
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2010
Interview
I did a total of FIVE interviews. I applied for the Operations and Guest Services Team Leader. Because of my degree they suggested I apply for an Executive Team Lead position. So I went for it. My first 2 interviews happened back-to-back at the store I originally applied to. The 3rd interview was at another store location. The 4th was a phone interview, which I didn't think I did very well on (phone interviews are brutal! 80% of communication is non-verbal.) The 5th and final interview was also a phone interview with 2 people in Portland ( the HR manager and the Group Director).
Advice: have many many many stories prepared.
