The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Miami, FL) in Aug 2010
Interview
When I arrived (15 minutes early), i was walked into the waiting area. When the time for my interview came, I was walked back to the interview area by the district team lead. There was a trainee in the office that aided with the interview process, and she asked me all of the questions. They were very nice people, and they were very down to earth. One thing that I did not like is that during the interview was that towards the end, the DTL asked me if I would consider a Team Lead position rather than an Executive Team Lead position, to which I said that i would not be interested. However, when I said that I thought I'd be better for the ETL position, the DTL sounded like he was completely fine with it, and he just said that he'd work on getting me into a local store as an ETL.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Santa Clarita, CA) in Jul 2010
Interview
Everyone was very helpful and nice. First they took one group on a tour of the store and the other group interviewed with 2 managers. After your two interviews and store tour you left. Unfortunately I did not receive an offer but it was a very pleasant experience.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Jul 2010
Interview
I have worked for Target for 5 years nowso my hiring process, atleast initially may be slightly different. I told my Store Team Leader I was interested in becoming an executive. I gave her my resume and she sent it to the Target Recruiter. She emailed me that same day about scheduling a phone interview. A few days later we did the phone interview. I was asked a couple days later for a second interview with a Store Team Leader and the District Team Leader.
