I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Oct 2010
Interview
I initially made contact with Target through my university's Career Fair, and was told to apply online. After doing so and registering through my school's Career Services website, I had an interview scheduled on campus. This interview was with an employee at the local Target store and was very relaxed and comfortable. The questions were generally geared toward leadership experiences and group situations. After this interview, I had a very good impression of Target and its employees. After this, I was offered a second interview at the regional headquarters in Oklahoma City. This was a "round robin" of interviews and also included a walk-through of the store and a detailed description of each Executive Team Leader position. During the actual interviews, many of the questions seemed repetitive and were not asking anything new from the first interview, and this time the interviewers seemed much more impersonal than the first time. However, I very much enjoyed the walk through and getting to see exactly where in the store you would be potentially working.
