I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Richmond, VA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Extremely disappointed in the whole experience. It seems Target is not participating in the bait and switch recruiting tactics for new college graduates. After interviewing extensively for the Executive position and also being told that they would also be hiring and moving forward with interviews for this position I followed through with multiple interviews. The interviews could not have gone better and I walked out feeling like I had the position in the bag. 1 week later I schedule a call with the recruiter- he told me I have good news and bad news, the good news is that we have an offer for you! the bed news is that its not for the position that you were expecting. It was quite insulting to have a 55k salary dangled in front of you to then be offered a position below it at an hourly rate. After turning the offer down Target reached out again to me about 2 months later to, "begin the conversation where we left off." Target did not change their offer-did not offer more money- and gave no timeline for when I would move into the actual position I had originally applied for. I am not sure why they would like my circumstances have changed in 2 months to offer me the same weak job I didn't want in the first place.
I was recruited at a career fair on my campus and asked to attend an interview at my college. After that I was asked to attend a tour and interview at a Target location. We went on a detailed tour throughout the store and then I interviewed with HR and the district manager individually.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Target (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
Three interviews total. One phone call and two in person is the normal method but due to my family moving states they easily accommodated with two phone interviews. The final Interview is with a district office. My first two interview were very casual and friendly. The final interview I had to wait for 30 minutes for the interviewer to see me and the answered questions from two individuals. They were very friendly.
