I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TD (Mississauga, ON) in Feb 2011
Interview
two interview phone calls and two in person interviews with mangers. Was not stressful, you'll basically would sit in person with two managers of customer service and they'll ask you a series of questions. Recommend you act energetic and have a passion for customer service because customers are their #1 priority. Stress on that fact and you're basically good as gold.

Tell me about a time you went up and beyond to help a customer? If you had a conflict with a co-worker what steps would you take to deal with it? If for example we had to hold a customers cheque for 5 business days bcuz he was risky, and he comes in very angry practically shouting, how would you deal with it?
The last thing was they gave me a pen, and said sell me this pen. (Demonstrates sales skills)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TD (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2013
Interview
I went in as a customer to clear up my online access and had a very nice conversation with an FSR about various banking and personal topics. I asked if they were looking for help and he said yes. I received a call from the manager the next day. My interview was very conversational and pleasant. We talked about our backgrounds in banking, sales, personal interests and hobbies, schedule, family life, etc. I applied directly from the manager's computer right in the store, and was hired on the spot, pending background checks. i spent about an hour and a half in her office, and dropped off my resume later in the day. She introduced me to the assistant manager, and invited me to call back to schedule a conference call with HR. I did have a strong banking, mortgage and sales background so the job was a perfect fit. Within a few days I received a call from the recruiter who made the official offer with salary which was higher than i indicated on the application.
