I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Lubbock, TX) in Apr 2015
Interview
They called you in after scheduling an interview with a two person panel. They go through various easy interview questions, and have you sign background paper work there. So they basically give you the job on the interview if you don't screw it up. They called me the next day with an offer.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Miami, FL) in May 2015
Interview
Extensive background check. Had two interviews. One very unprofessional with the store manager and one with the very professional district manager. Night and day. Very interesting dynamics. Overall they were nice though. Asked basic questions about me and my selling abilities. They also asked me what are the steps that I take in convincing someone to do something.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Florence, AL) in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied after one of my previous coworkers (who now works at T-Mobile) referred me. Application is online and was pretty long. There were several assessments of which were fairly simple with the exception of a few which required some thinking. I was called by the store manager the next morning for an interview the following day. I had one interview, since the people who would have done a second interview were already there. That's right-I had three people interview me. But it wasn't too bad. I was super comfortable and they loved me. I received another phone call from the store manager as soon as I got home from the interview and he chose me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you know when your customers are happy, describe when you made someone happy who was angry before, what are your strengths/weaknesses, what motivates you, etc. Very generic questions that you would expect for an interview.
