T-Mobile Retail Sales Associate interview questions

There were two interviews that took place. Questions included past experiences and how they could be tied with working at the company. Basically, they would give you a situation and tell you to use past experience on how you would handle the situation or to tied your previous experience and explain how you accomplished something.

I was recommended by a friend who already worked at T-Mobile. After completing the assessment test online (which is now different than before- the new assessment test tests sales skills with customer scenarios) the hiring manager was alerted to find my application. I went to the store to do a one on one interview. My impression of the store was that it seemed very busy, which it still is. At the end of the interview I was offered a position- despite my horrible availability which has since changed. Then I had to complete the background check and I believe that took about a week to process because of a discrepancy with my high school. I had to fax in my diploma and then all was well.
