Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Name a time how to deal with a difficult customer?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Beltsville, MD) in Jan 2017
Interview
Started with a group interview with a small group of 8~9 people. I say small because I have participated in hiring events of up to 25+ people. It was mainly learning about the manager panel (which there were 6, including the Hiring Manager). We did some activities in teamwork in smaller groups to present to the panel, and they took our questions at the end. The whole thing lasted about two hours.
An hour after this interview ended, they called me back to schedule another in-person interview the next week.
After that, I was called into an interview by myself with two managers. They asked me questions about how I handled situational roadblocks or objections that customers presented to me in the past as well as what sort of values I hold in the workplace when it comes to addressing confrontation. After the questions, there was a roleplaying section that lasted about 10 minutes, including reviewing over the materials.
In the next interview, they asked me to interview one-on-one with the District Manager which, was obviously an elevation in the process, but I was asked more or less the same sorts of questions and she dug into more of what would be expected of me in the position.
All in all it was very relaxed. There wasn't any beating around the bush, and throughout the whole process, I knew what was expected of me and what to expect from the company.
