The interview went well, but when they asked about my desired length of stay, I explained that I wanted to stay for a considerable time, but still launch or perhaps grow the company. The interviewer then went on a rant about how they thought they would only stay at this job for a short while, and their enthusiasm seemed to wane.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview process was fast-paced, with multiple rounds scheduled quickly, starting with recruiting, then leadership (Head of AEs, Regional Manager), and finishing with the Sales Director.
The communication afterward was disappointing. Despite positive feedback during the process, there was no follow-up or response to emails, and the rejection came after two weeks. It felt unprofessional and not very respectful to the candidate experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile
Interview
Had a phone screen with the recruiter, a couple of weeks later I scheduled an interview for a coding assessment and an interview with a manager. I had a prep call with the recruiter, he wasn't really familiar with what to truly prepare for but it was better than nothing. The scheduled interviews were back-to-back. About a week later the recruiter called and recommended me for a different position and ended up being rejected for both roles. Recruiter went ghost afterwards
