I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Sunglass Hut in Dec 2013
Interview
I was in store for an adjustment to my sunglasses and hit it off really well with the current manager. She just casually asked if I was looking for a part-time or secondary job and might be interested in applying at Sunglass Hut. I came back the following day for an official interview and was offered the job and started the following week.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sunglass Hut (Charleston, SC) in Oct 2014
Interview
Very informal, general industry knowledge and customer service oriented. I had to talk about different sunglasses brands and do a mock sale for the store manager. This was a very easy process and did not take very long. The nice thing was that they worked with me through the process and were very positive the whole way. If anything my sales skills developed.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sunglass Hut (Melbourne) in Oct 2017
Interview
large group interview maybe about 50 people. Was told the interview will be about 2hrs. Lots of "small group" games such as communicating with the person next to you and they will introduce you to everyone (name, where you came from today and an interesting/unique fact about you) vice versa, role playing - creating an ad that shows off a brand you have chosen. Fun but didn't really see the point of it. That went on for a while, they showed videos/presentations on the company and what they are etc. After it was one on one interviews, extremely quick and easy.
